In the 1930’s Eastman Kodak introduced a series of Bantam folding cameras of very compact design. The styling was by Walter Dorwin Teague, one of his many notable designs for the company.

The Bantam F4.5 camera was manufactured from 1947 to 1948. It was a popular camera due to its ease of operation and compact size. The camera was constructed with an aluminum body covered in black morocco-grained Kodadur material. It was capable of capturing 1 x 1 /12 inch exposures on no. 828 "Bantam" film.

It is fitted with a Kodak Anastigmat Special 47mm F4.5 coated lens with stops down to F16.

The camera is in very good condition with some usual signs of age.
