The mulberry transferware design, which goes all around the cup (and even inside) depicts "A Yorkshiremans Advice to his Son / See All Hear All Say Now T ... A / Eat All DrinkAll Pay Now T .. / And If Ever Tha Does Out For Now't Allus Do It For Thisen." There is a lively accompanying illustration featuring man, boy, dog and cat and various interiors. A line of fruit decorates the inside rim and the round handle.
